The residential building stands at the rear of a park-like plot with a listed 19th century villa. With a carbonated wooden façade, black anodised façade profiles and consistently age-appropriate single-storey design, it blends in with the location and the old tree population. With a limited room programme (3 rooms), it nevertheless leaves generous space for living, eating, living and celebrating. Walls and ceilings are made of exposed concrete, all furniture is made of white MDF as an individual interior finish. Oak floorboards, waxed steel and corten steel in the exterior complement the concept of material transparency.
