A part of the Mashhad military barracks in the center of the city has been moved outside the city over the past years, and parts of it have been handed over to the municipality to change its use to urban space.
An old shed, which was used as a storage and car repair place during the Iran-Iraq war, is located in the mentioned park. Next to it, there are special dining halls for war soldiers and warehouses, which are completely unused.
By carefully examining the park and recognizing the possibilities and current conditions, a new and appropriate site has been considered for more communication between the audience and the former war site and the current green space.
The proposed use is the Baroot sports complex, which includes special sports classes, a cafe for athletes, a restaurant suitable for healthy diets, and a shooting gallery.
