Rehabilitation of military barrack

This collection is designed with the aim of receiving ideas, innovations and creativity of talented and capable people, initially for the city of Mashhad and also on a larger scale for the east of Iran. By creating strong connections and interactions for the innovation ecosystem of the city, this center is a space for business growth and development.
Opinionated and experienced people of big businesses play an effective role in this direction for young people and new people in this place. This complex provides a platform where the owners of new ideas and businesses can easily grow and develop their business using the space and mechanisms that have been provided in this place. In addition, Plato is a suitable platform for people who need a quiet place to perform collective and individual activities. In fact, the purpose of this complex is to form an innovative community.
The main shed that was considered for the design is a structure with a wooden truss belonging to the Qajar . Trying to preserve and maintain this historical structure has been one of the important goals of this project, for this reason, it has been tried to turn this historical shed into a place for innovation with minimal interference. The copper plates are symbolic elements to depict a time locked in its past. An attempt to define a modern identity while respecting the identity of the past. These are the plates that give dynamic feeling to the space of the shed and outside it. With respect to the preserved use of the shed during the Qajar and Pahlavi  (as a car repair shop), the pits inside the shed, which have been a place for car repair for a long time; With the change of attitude, it has taken a different use.
In this project, it has been tried to design the paths in such a way that in addition to creating a connection between the sheds, it provides a space for the public to use as an urban green space. In the end, this collection is designed with the aim of helping to start and develop businesses, creating educational and cultural spaces, as well as an arena to improve the neighborhood's quality level.
