Raytent stand Salone del Mobile 2023 | dogtrot

For Raytent, the Salone del Mobile 2023 has been an excellent opportunity to present its yarn production process. The brand asked us to design a spectacular stand with a few iconic elements based on the sustainable characteristics of the product. The Arashiyama bamboo forest inspired the project: a green rope sculpture reminiscent of a tree burst forth from the centre of the stand. The ropes marked out  different paths, just like in a forest, letting visitors glimpse the surrounding space. The natural aspect thus immediately recalled the theme of sustainability. 

We designed the stand starting from the story of the product, its production process and possible applications. Raytent produces desaturated and natural shaded yarns from the waste of acrylic fabrics. They are then transformed into ropes, ribbons, braids, carpets, mats and a wide range of materials used for vertical and blackout curtains, upholstered seats and sound-absorbing panels. At the centre of an imaginary "square" around the eye-catching tree, we designed a series of rooms focused on the technical aspects of the product. 

The booth finishes were neutral, fresh and delicate, accurately referencing sustainability. 

The stand also presented various collaborations with the brands choosing Raytent's products to pack furniture and accessories for both interior and outdoors.

Per Raytent, il Salone del Mobile 2023 è stata l’occasione per presentare tutto il processo e il percorso produttivo che porta alla realizzazione del filato da parte dell’azienda. Il brand ci ha chiesto di progettare uno stand scenografico e d’impatto che con pochi elementi iconici – ma ben studiati – raccontasse le caratteristiche di sostenibilità del prodotto. Il progetto si ispira alla foresta di bamboo di Arashiyama; al centro dello stand si trova una scultura che ricorda un albero, costruita attraverso corde nelle tonalità del verde. Le corde inoltre delineano dei percorsi che – proprio come in una foresta – fanno intravedere lo spazio circostante. L’aspetto naturale richiama così immediatamente il tema della sostenibilità. Abbiamo progettato uno stand partendo dal racconto del prodotto mettendo in scena sia il processo produttivo che le sue possibili applicazioni. Raytent infatti – a partire dagli scarti di tessuti acrilico – produce dei filati dalle tonalità desaturate e naturali che vengono poi trasformati in corde, nastri, fettucce, trecce, tappeti, stuoie e un’ampia gamma di tessuti che vengono utilizzati per tende verticali e tende oscuranti, sedute imbottite e pannelli fonoassorbenti. Al centro di un’immaginaria “piazza” trova quindi posto il grande albero scenografico attorno al quale si aprono una serie di stanze pensate per raccontare gli aspetti più tecnici del prodotto. Le finiture e i materiali scelti per rivestire lo spazio presentano tonalità neutre, fresche e delicate; un vero e proprio richiamo all’immaginario naturale. Lo stand inoltre presenta le collaborazioni con diversi brand i quali utilizzano il prodotto di Raytent per confezionare arredi e complementi sia per l’interior che per l’outdoor.
