Studio Lievito signs the concept of the Jusbox Perfumes flagship stores, the first opening is in Milan in via della Spiga 1, in the pulsating center of the fashion district.

Bold formal experimentation and the absolute involvement of the senses guide the design of the concept. Shapes, materials and finishes respond to the need to vibrate the space to surprise its visitors. Vintage echoes and radical memories can be read in the choice of the flamed finish of the tops, while the vertical surfaces are marked by hypnotic lines and ‘sharp’ volumes. Furnishings born from the articulation of cubic elements connected to each other, accessories with rhythmic profiles and almost optical color palettes design a space full of suggestions.

“Music - with its expressive power either on the graphic and emotional level - it is the ‘vibration’ from which everything started. From furnishings to finishes, the store stimulates and involves all the senses, amplifying the olfactory notes of the precious fragrances on display.”

The store is divided into two adjacent rooms connected by a short corridor, both on the street level.

The first room is a space dedicated to ‘immersion’ in fragrances. As soon as the visitor enters the store, he is invited to interact with a real musical and scented jukebox that allows you to select your favorite fragrance. Wall display elements host some vinyls and the backlit brand logo complete this music station. On the opposite wall stands a single piece of furniture composed of multiple squared volumes connected to each other by cylindrical elements in brushed brass, a finish that characterizes all the metal elements present in the space. A mirror - also characterized by a ‘dynamic’ profile - completes the composition.

On the floor, a printed carpet recalls the palette of shapes and colors that characterizes the concept. For the shop window was selected an exhibition element that is both light and highly distinctive: the Alba bookcase - designed by Bernhardt & Vella and produced by Arflex - chosen in smoked glass.

Crossed the corridor - a rather compact passageway characterized by the slogan of the brand ‘Music has a Perfume’ reproduced in red neon colored paste made ad hoc in Murano - you are greeted by an enveloping lounge space. Here you can enjoy listening to a vinyl, browse a volume or sit down. The central display element allows to create always different scenarios and settings. The modular Alba bookcase is used in this room too: perfume bottles, books and other accessories recreate different moods and creative worlds. The folding seats - by Poltrona Frau - evoke concert audiences and prove to be the ideal solution to allow passage inside the room. A last nostalgic nod is the Taraxacum 2 suspension lamp - 1960 design by Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni for Flos - selected to illuminate this environment in a diffused and discreet way. A view of the internal courtyard completes the intimate and relaxed feeling of the space.

The surfaces of all the furnishings in the store, designed ad hoc by Studio Lievito, play on a contrast between interior and exterior by alternating two Alpi wood finishes: the intriguing flamed Sottsass Red and the discreet and intense Xilo Striped Black signed by Piero Lissoni.

The geometric pattern of the wallpaper is interrupted by the insertion of tridimensional mosaic tiles - Rombini collection designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Mutina - to simulate the sound-absorbing coating typical of recording studios. The floor is made with a large-format wall covering by Marazzi, a porcelain stoneware with a Tadelak effect characterized by a slight olive reflection.
