De la puerta al Hogar Mexico City / Mexico / 2019
“From the door to the home” is a temporary pavilion designed for Obra Blanca Expo, a construction finishes trade show in Mexico City. It is a piece that works as a gallery/reclusion space and allows the user to see and experiment ceramic tiles in a different way within a non-traditional ambiance. Starting from the entrance —with a circulation sense and an exit— one enters through the shape of a door to exits through the silhouette of a house.
The element has several perforations that generate different points of view either from outside towards inside and the other way around. At the center of the pavilion there is a suspended sculpture that transmits the sensation of movement and depth, as well as lightness by being floating in the space against the ceramic background creating the space for reflection.
