Soft, soft, Icecream. Mexico City / Mexico / 2022
Located in one of the most developed areas of Mexico City, Scoop arrives to position itself as the best ice cream parlor in Santa Fe due to its flavor and design. This project is inspired by those sensations that pass through our palates when eating ice cream, This is how we interpret a fresh space, with soft shapes and creamy colors, which will subtly invite you to take a selfie enjoying your Scoop.
It is designed with 2 types of users in mind, the diner and the operator, on the part of the diner, when accessing, you will begin a tour in which you will find yourself face to face with a lambrin with round moldings, where you will have to take a glass to serve your favorite ice cream, after this, the natural route takes us to the bar, where white carrara marble frames each of the toppings with which you can design your ice cream and finally weigh it so you can enjoy it. On the part of the operator, when opening the premises, the lighting reacts to the movement, directing the route to the service area, where the machinery, refrigeration, and storage are located, which is directly connected to the counter and counterbar. Where the design is fully functional to facilitate the operator experience.
Both programs are combined in the following zoning: Access, sofa area, central area, bar area, toilet, and service area. These areas are contained by an atmosphere of lighting and warm colors, which tend towards ocher and sand in contrast to green upholstery in the furniture.
The materials that make up this atmosphere are microcement on the floor, vitrified cladding on the walls, and a wooden panel finished in white lacquer that frames the higher-ranking areas, with special emphasis on the ScoopMix, which is the most important machine in the store. And a set of soft and curvilinear shapes on the ceiling that contain each area in the store, in such a way that we create micro scenes that become excellent photography backgrounds.
