D House | Sober Architecture and Design

Located in Saint-Tropez, this Provencal villa underwent a retreatment with a modern touch. The villa spans 380sqm and has its own unique ambiance, primarily created by the lighting used. The warm mood is achieved through a mix of orange lights and the massive drowned oak used in the spaces. To bring more light and blend the interior living rooms with the exterior, the long lengths of automated patio doors were treated.

The light beige façade coating matches perfectly with the sand-colored French natural stone used for the terrace and pool contour. The use of modern materials adds a touch of freshness to the project. Magnificent palm trees in the garden give the pool area a beach-side feel.

One noteworthy feature of the villa is the solid marble work in each bathroom. To give each bathroom a unique personality, different colors of marble, including white and blue, were used.

Overall, the project interprets the owner's basic philosophy with the designer's skills and taste, resulting in a beautiful and modern Provencal villa.
