ATOMIKA concealed hinges and Concept doors, a question of style: minimalist design and pure lines

When you imagine a door you immediately think of a dividing element that separates two rooms and that emerges from the wall in an evident way: it creates detachment and discontinuity, breaks the harmony and the lines of the wall.
However, modern architecture has led to an evolution of this idea of a door, with a significant change in its aesthetic perception as a partition element.

The doors thus become design components that fit harmoniously into the environment, maintaining its visual and decorative continuity until they themselves become an integral and personalized part of the space.

The company
Precisely this new vision is the basis of the work of Lessio Porte which imagines and carries out its idea of doors, no longer as doors themselves but as actual furnishing components, original and functional. An idea that starts from the union between artisan tradition and innovation, between art and research, between uniqueness and quality.

Lessio Porte originates as a small artisan workshop and grew over the years specializing in the manufacturing of interior doors. 
More than a company, today it is a real door designer shop with 8 different collections and the possibility of creating customized doors. An atelier where the door as a product is designed and created with a a lot of care of the design but without neglecting the highest quality

The project

A building characterized by white interior elements that emphasize a strongly minimal style and where natural light spreads thanks to large glass walls. The choice of doors played an essential role in maintaining the continuity of the interior design: the LC_03 model of the Concept Line, with 240 cm doors of an ice white colour, perfectly underlines the strong sense of spaciousness and airiness.
The “reverse” opening type becomes a further distinctive design element. The doors are coplanar from the outer side with an opening direction towards inside the room: the result is a jamb hidden from the external side and therefore a greater continuity between the doors and the walls.

ATOMIKA Slim K8060 concealed hinges
In order to install the doors, ATOMIKA Slim K8060 door hinges were selected which allowed a major opeing fluidity. Made of high-resistance steel, the K8060 invisible hinges stand out for their high performance over time and for their outstanding resistance to fire and adverse weather conditions.
With a capacity of 60 kg, they made it possible to create pure and linear installations perfectly matching the minimalist style of the rooms and with the Concept Line doors design.

Concept range
The concept range was created following a new vision in the door design. Glass, rock, marble, concrete, leather and wood, precious and innovative materials are combined with each other assuming innovative artistic values. The result is the doors meant to be distinctive furnishing elements that become an integral part of the design of any environment. The union between aesthetic innovation and artisan tradition is the cornerstone of the stylistic choice of these products.
The range that is not only developed for pure aesthetic virtuosity. The quality of the materials and the internal structure are the other strengths of the Concept Line doors.

Quando si immagina una porta si pensa subito ad un elemento di divisione che separa due ambienti e che emerge dalla parete in maniera forte e marcata: crea distacco e discontinuità, rompe l’armonia e le linee stesse della parete.

L’architettura moderna ha però portato ad un’evoluzione di questa idea di porta, con un forte cambiamento nella sua percezione estetica di elemento di partizione. Le porte divengono così componenti di design che si inseriscono armoniosamente nell’ambiente, mantenendone la continuità visiva e decorativa fino a divenire esse stesse parte integrante e di personalizzazione degli spazi.

L’azienda
Proprio questa nuova visione è alla base del lavoro di Lessio Porte che immagina e realizza la sua idea di porte, non più fini a se stesse ma come veri e propri componenti d’arredo, originali e funzionali. Un percorso che parte dal connubio tra tradizione artigiana ed innovazione, tra arte e ricerca, tra unicità e qualità.  

Lessio Porte nasce come un piccolo laboratorio artigianale e cresce negli anni specializzandosi nella costruzione di porte da interni.  

Più che una azienda, è oggi una vera e propria sartoria della porta con ben 8 collezioni differenti e la possibilità di creare ante personalizzate su misura.
Un atelier dove si immagina, disegna e confeziona il prodotto-porta con una profonda attenzione al design ma senza mai rinunciare alla massima qualità.

Il progetto
Un edificio caratterizzato da interni bianchi che rimarcano uno stile fortemente minimal e dove la luce naturale si diffonde grazie ad ampie pareti a vetrate. La scelta delle porte ha giocato un ruolo essenziale per mantenere la continuità del design degli interni: il modello LC_03 della Linea Concept, con ante di 240 cm e di color bianco ghiaccio, rimarca ed enfatizza perfettamente il forte senso di spazialità ed ariosità.
La tipologia di apertura “inversa” diviene un ulteriore elemento di design distintivo, Le ante risultano a complanare dal lato esterno con un movimento in apertura verso l’interno della stanza: il risultato è uno stipite nascosto dal lato esterno e quindi una maggiore continuità tra le porte e le pareti.
 
 
Cerniere a scomparsa ATOMIKA K8060
Per installare le ante sono state scelte le cerniere per porte ATOMIKA Slim K8060 che hanno permesso una maggiore fluidità nell’apertura. Realizzate in acciaio altoresistenziale, le cerniere invisibili K8060 si distinguono per le elevate prestazioni nel tempo e per un’ineguagliabile resistenza al fuoco e a condizioni climatiche avverse. Con una portata di 60 kg, hanno permesso di realizzare installazioni pulite e lineari in perfetto abbinamento con lo stile minimal degli ambienti e con il design delle porte della Linea Concept.

Linea concept
La linea concept è stata creata seguendo una visione differente nel design delle porte. Vetro, roccia, marmo, cemento, pelle e legno, materiali pregiati ed innovativi vengono accostati tra loro assumendo delle valenze artistiche innovative. Ne nascono ante concepite per essere elementi d’arredo distintivi che divengono parte integrante del design di ogni ambiente. L’unione tra innovazione estetica e tradizione artigiana è il punto cardine nella scelta stilistica di questi prodotti. Una linea che non si sviluppa solamente per il puro virtuosismo estetico. La qualità dei materiali utilizzati e la costruzione interna sono gli altri punti di forza delle porte della Linea Concept.
