A playful two bedroom apartament completely remodelled Bucharest / Romania / 2022

The starting point was an apartament which formerly housed a small office space. The first goal was to better define the main daytime areas: entrance space, socialising and TV space, the bar/workspace and the dining area.
This bar/workspace area used to be a balcony - the framing was demolished, bringing in daylight and integrating this space.
Furniture pieces act as separators and help mask the centralised HVAC ducts. They also integrate the large windows into different functions - a panoramic bar, dishwashing space in the kitchen and a window seat in the bedroom.
