A dialogue of tradition and impishness in an original tenement block on Letná. A flat that respects the character of the building, yet is still modern and “alive”, supporting its inhabitants’ creativity. Traditional parquet flooring with a chevron pattern is complemented by the kitchen’s simple design or the sophisticated industrial look (wrought iron furniture designed by the authoress). Textures and patterns dominate the interior: Italian tiles in the kitchen and bathroom, coloured wallpaper, milled hatching on the furniture. The playful interior looks informal, but the details exude a sense of elegance and harmony.
