The project develops a landscape perspective according to a principle of reflection and mirroring that suggests to the pedestrian a reinterpretation of the environment.

We wanted the entire wall to become a sentient surface that reflects and sublimates the surrounding landscape.

It is by working with a series of photos of the boulevard Raspail that we were able to identify an essential principle: each landscape can be translated by a specific colored range.

The transformation of the landscape into different ranges of colored geometric elements will allow to fully integrate this unique surface into its environment.

During this graphic process of "schematization", we have, in three steps :

- Deconstructed the different landscape elements present.

- The Haussmannian buildings of the boulevard coexist with an important central vegetation and large views on the sky.

- This urban arrangement allowed us to highlight certain tones and colorimetric associations.

The assembly of these different photographs, now abstract, allowed us to create a landscape mural.

Thus, an abstract colored pattern will be associated with the flat surface of the wall via a defined geometric pattern giving to see from the boulevard Raspail, a landscape reinterpretation of the environment.

We intervened on the whole wall of Boulevard Raspail as well as the gable wall at the corner of Notre Dame des Champs street. The part of the wall covered with Virginia creeper, in good health, is preserved.

The alley planted on the central median of the Boulevard Raspail as well as the vegetated façade are essential elements for the desired landscape insertion of this wall. The project echoes this remarkable landscape.

The desire to use enamelled glass panels introduces a material dimension to this pictorial approach through the world of ceramics.

The choice to use this material reminded us of the culture of Azulejos in Portugal where tiles decorated with geometric patterns compose certain facades.
