Ayt Kin is a collective granary enclosed in a fortified village with seven bastioned towers. The collective granary benefited from a first restoration in 2004 initiated by the local association. Eight years later, as part of a project based on this American fund, I launched a second phase of safeguarding, with the partnership of the Amoudou association of Tiznit. This involves redoing the waterproofing, the terraces with their characteristic slate roofs (in progress), the foundations will be strengthened and work is also planned to embellish the interior spaces (which were unfortunately cemented in 2004). This attic is still in use.
