Ait Ouabelli Cultural Centre.
Passive building made of stone with dry joints.
Bioclimatic gallery on the south-west façade, which is the most exposed to the sun.
Perfecting all vernacular techniques for contemporary architecture in order to propose a sustainable development, particularly in the direction of social utility projects (maternity hospitals, cultural centres, women's homes, schools, etc.).
This is also a way of offering the most disadvantaged a quality public space. This is undoubtedly the only way to reduce the destructive impact of the standardised architecture currently widespread in the rural world.
A multi-media room, a multi-purpose and exhibition room, workshops for children, offices and toilets.
An outdoor theatre.
We wanted to use a dry-joint technique that is present in the region. However, the abundant presence of scorpions prevented us from using this technique for the interiors.
