HOUSING HAMBURG | LDARCHITECTS

The international competition with limited participation included the Weltquartier ("Umbau und Modernisierung einer Wohnsiedlung mit interkultureller Bewohnerschaft") or the redevelopment of the Wilhelmsburg residential district in Hamburg, Germany, the redevelopment and recovery of existing buildings, the architectural enhancement of the public space and of the green system, the realization of new strategic "public" buildings, polarized for the surrounding residential fabric, are the strategic elements of the project.

Il concorso Internazionale a partecipazione ristretta, ha riguardato il Weltquartier (“Umbau und Modernisierung einer Wohnsiedlung mit interkultureller Bewohnerschaft") ovvero la riqualificazione del quartiere residenziale Wilhelmsburg, ad Amburgo in Germania. La riqualificazione e recupero dei manufatti esistenti, la valorizzazione architettonica dello spazio pubblico e del sistema del verde, la realizzazione di nuovi edifici “pubblici” strategici polarizzanti per il tessuto residenziale circostante, sono gli elementi strategici del progetto.
