The building is part of the historic academic campus origianlly designed by McKim, Mead and White. The client is upgrading various entry and circulation paths within the university. In this case, a ADA lift is introduced in the lobby to elevate patrons to the mid level providing the user access to a floor with an elevator. The volume and choice of materials are complimentary to fit within the context of the historic lobby.
