Featured at the show, SPA Deca by architects Marília Zimmermann, Daniel Kroth and Renata Marques is inspired by Salar de Uyuni, in Bolivia (the largest salt desert in the world), to create a conceptual and relaxing monochromatic environment. The organic design of the architecture invites introspection. Colors, shapes, rustic stones and natural lighting converge to provide an experience of well-being. Entering the space, the porcelain covering the floor was cut to reflect designs found in the Salar.
A natural rock suspended in the first big curvature, which marks the arrival into the environment, was arranged to receive the sinks of the washroom. The sequence features another large rock on the floor that accommodates the bathroom area that seems to float off the floor, with its recessed base and LED lighting. A bathtub and a shower were installed in the elongated and curved structure, gaining natural light from the immense skylight that convey a design inspired by nature's lakes. Discreetly sheltered, the suspended toilet appears to float inside a curve further away.
