The building contains five holiday appartements and one for the owner. The appearance of the new building fits into the small-scale village structure typical of the area in Solda, with individually conditioned building orientations, details and characteristics. The lowest floor (ground floor 1) is dug into the slope at the back. Seen from the church and the nearby hotel, only 2 ½ storeys and a massive plinth are visible. From the lake, on the other hand, 3 ½ storeys are visible.

The architectural characteristics of these buildings are mainly shaped by the materials and by the spatial and functional requirements of the construction task: the guest flats with the outdoor areas in the form of terraces were built in timber construction on the upper floors (first floor and ground floor 2). The owner's flat, reception areas and ancillary rooms, on the other hand, were built on the lower floors (ground floor 2 and ground floor 1) in solid construction (reinforced concrete and masonry).

The surface of the structure was adapted to the local building tradition with mineral plaster and stone surfaces. As far as the external appearance is concerned, a compact appearing construction method was aimed at by making balconies loggia-like: Peripheral areas are framed by vertical elements such as supports and solid wooden slats. This resulted in an optically clearly defined, aesthetically shaped wooden structure. Larch wood was used for the wooden shell.

Bei dem Projekt handelt es sich um ein Appartementhaus mit fünf Ferienwohnungen und einer Betriebswohnung. Das Erscheinungsbild des neuen Gebäudes fügt sich in die für die Gegend in Sulden am Ortler typische kleinteilige Weilerstruktur mit individuell bedingten Gebäudeausrichtungen, Details und Charakteristika ein. Das unterste Geschoss (EG 1) ist auf der Rückseite in den Hang eingegraben. Von der Kirche und dem nahegelegenen Hotel aus betrachtet treten dadurch nur 2 ½ Geschosse und ein massiver Sockel in Erscheinung. Vom See aus hingegen erkennt man 3 ½ Geschosse.

Die architektonischen Eigenschaften dieser Gebäude werden vor allem durch die Materialien und durch die räumlichen und funktionalen Anforderungen der Bauaufgabe geprägt: die Gästeappartements mit den Freibereichen in Form von Terrassen wurden in den oberen Geschossen (OG und EG 2) in Holzbauweise errichtet. Die Betriebswohnungen, Empfangsbereiche und Nebenräume hingegen wurden in den unteren Geschossen (EG 2 und EG1) in Massivbauweise (Stahlbeton- und Mauerwerk) realisiert.

Die Oberfläche des Baukörpers wurde mit mineralischem Putz und Steinoberflächen der örtlichen Bautradition angeglichen. Was das äußere Erscheinungsbild betrifft, so wurde eine kompakt erscheinende Bauweise angestrebt, indem Balkone loggienartig ausgebildet wurden: Randbereiche werden durch vertikale Elemente wie Stützen und massive Holzlamellen gefasst. Dadurch entstand ein optisch klar definierter, ästhetisch geformter Holzbaukörper. Für die Holzschalung wurde Lärchenholz verwendet.
