Residence Doral

For this stunning new construction home in Miami, we looked to the client’s lifestyles to envision a modern tropical residence, whose aesthetic is timeless. The interior palette consists of warm tones and clean lines with an overlay of wood and pops of color.

Lush landscaping leads you to the wood-clad facade where the matching door invites you into the remarkable interior. The entryway introduces you to the design with a subtly styled settee bench opposite a modern organic console and mirror reflecting the interior garden nestled under the staircase. They curated the design to showcase natural materials and textured surfaces while inviting an abundance of natural light into every space. Double-height ceilings evoke a sense of grandeur as the eye travels from the ground floor.

Architectural detailing throughout from the modern coffered ceiling to spans of smokey glass add visual layers to the design celebrating every detail.

The lighting plan enhances every ambiance with recessed lighting complemented by statement light fixtures. Washed in natural light the dining area features a natural wood table flanked by modern armchairs atop a stone-like patterned area rug. The chef’s kitchen is custom designed with concealed appliances and gorgeous glass cabinets with a marble island perfect for entertaining while cooking. Cantilevered over the island, a minimalist light fixture balances delicately. The formal living room is tailored to the client’s love of sculptural furnishings and luxe layered finishes. Elegantly built into the space, the entertainment center is designed in concrete with an inset metal shelf. The casual yet upscale layout of the open floor plan allows one to unwind. An oasis-style patio leads to a dipping pool and jacuzzi with a Balinese vibe. The main bedroom design incorporates natural light and a calming colorway with natural tones like warm wood, green hues, and white oak. Contemporary furniture is styled to create a personal sanctuary leading into the luxurious travertine bathroom. Modern fixtures, a floating tub, and a natural skylight make this a special retreat.
