The project involves the renovation of a residential building overlooking the sixteenth-century walls of Ferrara. Despite having a large garden, with a generous service annex, the property had no visual relations with the walls and in general with the open spaces. The project enhances this extraordinary potential by opening the entire living area towards the garden and towards the view of the walls, thus recreating a strong relationship between the interior, nature and landscape. The project then provides for a general restructuring of the structures and systems with the aim of improving their seismic behavior and energy performance.
