EDGE FAMILY HOME | TAKA + PARTNERS

The Edge Family Home is a 200m2 apartment and is located on the seafront of Thessaloniki. It is being completely renovated in order to house the needs of a family. Spaces are reorganized into private and public subsets with an emphasis on balance and the feeling of a family home. The central idea lies in the “entrance” of the beach front inside the residence, creating cores of symbiosis and circulation channels with direct visual escapes to the sea. The spaces are divided into a single living space with two living rooms and a kitchen, three bedrooms, wc and storage areas. The single overnight stay area has visual contact with the two beach fronts of the area, Kalamaria and Thessaloniki.
