Located in the heart of the Amoreiras district, Lisbon's prime flourishing neighbourhood, Sublime Lisboa is surrounded by eclectic historical buildings, verdant public gardens, art galleries and museums, as well as historical monuments and Lisbon's iconic Roman Aqueduct. Once a 15 bedroom regal 20th century townhouse the building was lovingly restored and transformed with panache into a chic understated boutique hotel at the hands of award winning interior designer Rita Andriga. Creatives at Andriga Studio hired a raft of local artisans to produce quality local upholstery, Portuguese textiles and unique furnishings to embody the classic yet playful atmosphere and the entire project was overlooked and helmed by experienced hotelier and owner Gonçalo Pessoa. This typical regent Portuguese 20th century has been turned into a sophisticated, yet laid back, city centre hotel. With carefully selected art works, a curated modern photography collection and richly unique decor, each room is stylishly and lavishly bespoke providing guests with an individually tailored atmosphere in one of Lisbon’s most upscale and handily located neighbourhoods. The in house Davvero Restaurant continues the eye-popping design and rich mediterranean flavours, the quality of select artisanal produce, freshly harvested market ingredients and the simplicity of their transformation set the uber-sophisticated tone.
