L’oggetto di intervento per questa gioielleria è uno storico locale commerciale nel centro della città. Aperto su tre lati con grandi vetrine, gode di moltissima luce e visibilità tanto che la città e la vista lo penetra e lo traguarda attraversandolo da fuori a dentro e ancora a fuori.

Il progetto in primo luogo pone l’ingresso al centro a rievocare una classicità ancora contemporanea, da qui, dove si è accolti, si sviluppano due gallerie espositive

che terminano con l’esposizione di due dei più importanti brand offerti.

Lo spazio è stato riportato a nudo, è stato dapprima completamente svuotato all’interno così da evidenziare sul perimetro il ritmo alternato dei vuoti delle vetrine con i pieni della struttura del fabbricato, lasciando liberi al centro i quattro grandi pilastri che sorreggono un soffitto molto alto.

Da queste invariabili si è scelto di far si che fossero proprio i vuoti e i pieni esistenti a dare origine al progetto. Come sempre, la comprensione dello spazio insieme alla proiezione delle necessità del cliente, divengono un tutt’uno generatore di nuovi spazi.

Il centro del negozio è dunque un cuore operativo, riservato e protetto dalla massiccia presenza della struttura portante. I gioielli più preziosi trovano posto in questo cuore in cui un arredo a V non troppo alto nasconde al suo centro un banco per le piccole lavorazioni; alle sue spalle una lucente carta da parati verde scuro a foglia oro, emana i riflessi di una grande sospensione luminosa.

Oltre il centro dello spazio l’organismo si compone di tutto quanto necessario alla vita del negozio legata alla vendita oltre ogni formalità. Un unico fondo di base è il pavimento in pietra riscoperto e originario dell’immobile. E’ posato alla palladiana e composto per lo più da lastre sbozzate in pietra di Cagli intervallate omogeneamente da poche parti dosate in Verde Alpi. Nel rispetto di questi antichi materiali, il progetto in analogia si adegua nei colori. Quest’ultima pietra infatti dal verde profondo, dopo la levigatura e il trattamento naturale, esalta e si esalta nel verde riproposto degli arredi. Tutto è verde, beije e oro. Il verde campionato degli arredi sta anche nel ritmo architettonico delle vetrine, esili frame in ferro verniciato ricompongono lo spazio espositivo e, come un vassoio, un volume dorato serve e mostra i preziosi in teche di vetro extra-chiaro a protezione degli stessi. Anche nei banchi liberi sul loro perimetro ma giustificati nello spazio il verde scuro torna e ritorna, sale da terra nello zoccolo più tenue per affermarsi deciso nel corpo centrale rivestito in legno fresato, per concludersi infine con grandi teche espositive illuminate dall’interno.

L’illuminazione si fa in due, una generale più decorativa che sottolinea ancora le strutture e gli spazi ed una più tecnica e specifica al servizio della vendita. Piccoli fari incassati nascondono sorgenti luminose molto potenti e concentrate, tali da esaltare la lucentezza e i riflessi di materiali e delle pietre preziose. La forte luce sul gioiello al momento della vendita crea una sorta di pura ed effimera teatralità che, lasciando il resto in ombra, rimanda al piacere di fare o ricevere un regalo inaspettato.

The shop is located in a historic commercial space in the city center. Open on three sides with large windows, it enjoys a lot of light and visibility so that the city and the view penetrates it from outside to inside.
The project places the entrance in the center, to evoke a still contemporary classicism, from where two exhibition galleries develop, ending with the exhibition of two of the most important brands offered. The project involved re-emerging the structure of the shop: it was first completely emptied inside so as to highlight on the perimeter the alternating rhythm of the empty spaces of the windows with the full ones of the building structure leaving the four large pillars that support a very high ceiling.

From these starting points it was decided that the existing volumes would give rise to the project.

The understanding of space jointly with the projection of the customer's needs become the generator of new spaces.

The center of the store is therefore an operational heart, reserved and protected by the massive presence of the bearing structure. The most precious jewels find place in this heart where a not too high V-shaped furniture hides a counter for bespoke works; behind it a shiny dark green wallpaper with gold leaf emanates the reflections of a large luminous suspension.
The original stone floor of the building has been rediscovered. It is laid in the Palladian style and consists mostly of rough-hewn slabs of Cagli stone homogeneously interspersed with a few parts in Verde Alpi. In compliance with these ancient materials, the project in analogy adapts to the colors which are repeated in the furnishings.
Everything is green, beige and gold. Green is also in the architectural rhythm of the windows, slender painted iron frames recompose the exhibition space and, like a tray, a gilded volume serves and displays the precious items in extra-clear glass cases to protect them.
Even in the free counters on the perimeter, which are justified in space, the dark green returns, rises from the ground in the more tenuous plinth to assert itself decisively in the central body covered in milled wood, finally ending with large display cases illuminated from the inside.
The lighting is divided in two parts: a more decorative general one that still emphasizes the structures and spaces, and a more technical and specific one at the service of the sale. Small recessed spotlights hide very powerful and concentrated light sources, such as to enhance the brightness and reflections of materials and precious stones. The strong light on the jewel at the time of sale creates a sort of pure and ephemeral theatricality which, leaving the rest in the shade, refers to the pleasure of giving or receiving an unexpected gift.
