Härlandatjärnskolan is a new school located on the grounds of the large nature area Härlanda tjärn. Carefully crafted to sit in concert with the neighbouring residential area, the school draws its inspiration from the nature. It came naturally to give the facades an outer shell that is dominated by wood, as well as a warm green hue which roots the school in the area and gives it a soft adaptation to nature. Green meadow roofs with native plant species further tie the scheme to its context.
