Palatial trimaran sailing yachts are quite rare. The Hanstaiger X1 is a limited-edition trimaran produced in only three versions by the eponymous Alicante-based shipbuilder.
Its futuristic design features a hull made from a single piece of vinyl ester resin, carbon fiber and Kevlar. The effect is equally striking – the hulls sit high in the water, the lines are sleek and sculptural and the audacious ratio between glass and structure allows for brightly lit interiors.
Designed by Antonio Citterio, a pair of Cestone sofas distinguished by elegant cowhide suede backrests are matched with an Infinity coffee table to furnish the large main salon, which opens directly onto the beach club deck.
The upper bridge has two spacious gangways for easy movement around the yacht. The large central flybridge comes complete with a spa and barbecue area. Comfort here is ensured by a generous corner arrangement of the Vulcano seating system, also designed by Antonio Citterio.
