The theme around which the proposals of this IV Edition of the Contest Des-Adarve is: Displacement. The reinterpretation of the Palace of the Marquis of San Adrián, the 8 columns that move and adapt to their new environment, a part inside the Municipal Food Market, made up of 8 round columns that are distributed linearly following the trace of 4 existing metal columns located in the middle of the main courtyard, allude to the fact that they are in static form adapting to the existing. The concept is an analogy of the existing columns, which focus and follow A line; 8 columns, these same ones in turn have a height of 3 m, which allows it to be coupled with their immediate context so as not to be protagonists, in black finish, simulating absorbing the floor enclosure and it seems that emerges from it, 8 new columns that function as wakes, you can wander and surround yourself in them, admire them from another point or simply touch them, these columns are made of cardboard construction formwork pipe single use only.

A diameter of 25 cm and 300 cm of high per piece.

Columns was an ephemeral proposal for the Des-Adarve contest in the IV edition, in Tudela, Navarra, Spain. During the days 10 to 18 September 2022.

Months ago, the proposal to choose the interior of the municipal market was worked on, simulating the existing columns where the idea originated, a contemplative space that will not attract attention in collaboration with Ana Palacios in charge of logistics, now the formwork tubes of the project they will have a second life and will be moved to a pet shelter and the bases will be used as tables, the benches were donated to different parties in Tudela, very happy that the project had a second life, for Des-Adarve 2022.
