Total budget: 50,000 euro

The concept behind Summery Saturday Morning project started from the beneficiary's attraction to a light furnishing style, with boho and Scandinavian influences. Nothing takes us in this direction more than the idea of a sunny summer day, where you just relax and enjoy the soft sunlight.

The construction part

The project underwent a total renovation. We replaced all the existing finishes, the sanitary items, we redid the entire electrical installation and the carpentry part of the windows. Compared to the initial wall partition, I did not intervene much. We just decided to build a new space for the walk-in dressing room in the master bedroom with the help of plasterboard walls.

We chose to use a triple-layered wooden floor instead of the laminated one for the open-space and bedrooms, and for the hall area, in the bathroom and on the terraces we used ceramic tiles.

This part of the works reached the value of approximately 20,000 euros (the works were done before the new wave of increased prices) and lasted over 3 months.

Furniture:

For the furniture, we wanted to use natural materials and textures, to outline the idea of a boho arrangement. We chose natural wood finishes, combined with textile fibers of rattan, bamboo and linen fabrics.

The favorite area of the arrangement is the living room. Because this space is the most used by the whole family, we decided to highlight it by creating a false ceiling, with wood and rattan structure. I added some suspended lighting fixtures, a comfortable modular sofa, and a bamboo table. The wall behind the sofa also got some attention: we decided to build some frames, also made of wood, which we later painted in the pastel shade of the wall. Following this pattern, I did the same with the newly built walls in the master bedroom.

The kitchen is part of the same open plan as the living room. It stretches over the entire wall and benefits from the most natural light. We chose materials such as mdf painted in pastel green and wood with a rustic appearance. The sanitary group includes almost the same chromatic palette, through the decorative ceramic tiles, together with oak veneered wood used for the cabinets. Large mirrors hide some storage spaces behind them, but at the same we used them to visually enlarge the entire bathroom.

The two rooms that host the bedrooms provided us generous spaces, so we decided to integrate a reading area in each of them. We have built benches next to the windows, where you can enjoy a good book and a cup of tea, admiring the outside at the same time. Also, each bedroom benefits from an office area, where you can work in peace, storage spaces and lot of natural light.
