The apartment is located in Latisana, province of Udine, on the lower floor of a set of three buildings with a large number of apartments facing the internal courtyard on one side and the public road on the other.
Together with the clients after having spent several months of research, for a house or an apartment on which to intervene and create an environment with the characteristics for their new needs and requests, we have decided not to waste more time and intervene by making certain changes to upset the face of an apartment they already own.
We started from a base of an apartment that allowed to increase the size of the living area through the demolition of a wall that delimited a single bedroom. This opening has provided more livable space to the kitchen and dining room area; natural lighting also increases thanks to a larger window area.
The apartment has undergone a complete transformation that involved both the internal distribution and all the finishes, the bathrooms, the study of lighting for each room. Today it consists of a large living area, where the living room, the kitchen and the dining table are an open space, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a closet and a laundry room. The carefully studied colors give a warm atmosphere and harmony throughout the house; mainly light in the living area, accesses in the bathroom, darker and more refined in the hallway and in the bedrooms.
A new natural pre-finished oak wood floor was chosen for the entire apartment, laid longitudinally in a running direction, with an opaque and oiled effect.
The bathrooms have been completely redone. The smaller one, a guest bathroom, with a more intimate shower, is characterized by a monolithic partition and the tone of the sage green wall. The large mirror custom designed, with the application of the two lamps, widens the bathroom.
The second and largest bathroom is determined by a composition of the covering, arranged in a studied way where lighting plays a fundamental and poetic role, emphasizing the various facets of the shower wall and that of the sinks.
The main rooms are now large and harmonious, where in addition to the rest, there is now space for the wardrobe to always have everything in order in the right direction.

L’appartamento si trova a Latisana in provincia di Udine, al piano inferiore di un insieme di tre edifici con un gran numero di appartamenti affacciati da un lato verso la corte interna e dall’altro verso la strada pubblica. Assieme ai committenti dopo aver passato svariati mesi di ricerca, di una casa o un appartamento su cui intervenire e realizzare un ambiente con le caratteristiche per le loro nuove esigenze e richieste, abbiamo deciso di non perdere più tempo ed intervenire apportando determinate modifiche per stravolgere il volto di un appartamento già in loro possesso.

Siamo partiti da una base di un appartamento che permetteva di aumentare le dimensioni della zona giorno attraverso la demolizione di una parete che delimitava una camera da letto singola. Questa apertura, ha fornito maggior spazio vivibile alla zona della cucina e della sala da pranzo; aumentano anche l’illuminazione naturale grazie ad una maggiore superficie finestrata.  

L’appartamento ha subito una trasformazione completa che ha interessato sia la distribuzione interna che tutte le finiture, i bagni, lo studio della illuminazione per ogni ambiente.  Oggi si compone da una ampia zona giorno, dove il living, la cucina e il tavolo da pranzo sono un openspace, quattro camere da letto, due bagni, un ripostiglio ed una lavanderia. I colori attentamente studiati, donano un’atmosfera calda e un ‘ armonia in tutta la casa; prevalentemente chiari nella zona giorno, accessi nel bagno, più scuri e ricercati nel disimpegno e nelle camere. Per tutto l’appartamento è stato scelto un nuovo pavimento in legno prefinito naturale essenza rovere, posato in senso longitudinale a correre, con un effetto opaco e oliato.

I bagni sono stati completamente rifatti. Quello più piccolo, di servizio, con una doccia più raccolta, viene caratterizzato da un setto monolitico e dal tono della parete verde salvia. Il grande specchio, disegnato su misura, con applicazione delle due lampade, allarga la stanza da bagno. Il bagno più grande, è determinato da una composizione del rivestimento, disposta in modo studiato dove l’illuminazione gioca un ruolo fondamentale e poetico, enfatizzando le varie sfaccettature della parete doccia e di quella dei lavelli. Le camere principali ora risultano grandi ed armoniose, dove oltre al riposa ora trova spazio anche l’armadiatura per avere sempre tutto in ordine nel verso giusto.
