The new premium Peach summer terrace has opened on the territory of the Moscow Silk business district. With its breathtaking view it’s a place where you can literally rise above the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the gastronomic delights that the local menu is offering. The Archpoint bureau is responsible for the design: the architects made the terrace light and elegant, matching the restaurant with the same name a few floors below.

On the terrace you are almost feeling the blows of a light breeze, and the sea vibe is felt in the air. This feeling is created by a general light palette, an abundance of white in tablecloths, marble bar counters and soft chairs, long wooden planks on the floor, chairs on high thin legs, green plants in pots.

The space could easily be confused with a Mediterranean coastal restaurant if it were not for plants and trees from the Eurasian temperate zone — there are no ficuses here, but only birches, currant, jasmine, honeysuckle, acacia and lavender from local nurseries. These plants create contrast and give the place a special charm.

It is worth coming here not only for gastronomic, but also for visual sensations: against the background of the overall expensive environment the eye notices the details — many things are realized unexpectedly, with a deep creative approach. The floor in the entrance area and along one of the bar counters is paved with concrete terrazzo mosaic tiles with a simple elegant pattern designed by the architects. The bar counters are made of construction gypsum blocks: on the facade of one a pattern in the form of diagonal stripes is created with the help of a cutter, and the facade of the second is covered with glass, and illuminated. Beautiful melted glass lamps hang above the bars.

Once on the terrace, a guest has to decide on a place to sit. The space offers a wide choice: elegant tables under a white tablecloth surrounded by comfortable chairs and armchairs, small wooden tables reminiscent of a seating in coastal Greek restaurants, soft sofas and armchairs in the lounge area, high seating at the bar counter.

The guest can also choose one of the unique tables designed by the architects: ones made of warm solid wood, marble or metal. In the surface of a black curved table a hole is manually cut out, from which a rose bush is growing.

The elegant furnishings are complemented by Ton chairs and large white Driade plastic armchairs by designer Philippe Starck. In the evenings each table is lit by a Marset brand lamp, creating a cozy light and reflecting beautifully on the snow-white tablecloths.

The space is located on the roof under the open sky, so the architects had to think of a ceiling to protect the guests from bad weather and scorching sun. As a result, part of the terrace was covered with a light canopy, and the second part was covered with a retractable awning, which can be opened in clear weather and put back when it’s cloudy.

One more thing that’s worth attention is the design of the bathroom: along the walls from one end to the other there is a long sink made of light beige travertine with golden faucets and soap dispensers. On the wall there is another art object from the architects — a beige coat, poured into concrete, with a golden Peach logo.

On the terrace a feeling arises like you are going on a trip to the Mediterranean coast and at the same time to nature, familiar from childhood. One should come here to take a break from the city’s fuss sitting against the background of the skyscrapers of Moscow City, take a delicious gourmet meal and relax with a glass of wine listening to live music.
