Nicola Rossio Hotel | Às Duas Por Três

Nicola Rossio Hotel, located in one of the most emblematic Plazas of Lisbon – The D. Pedro IV plaza, most known as Rossio Plaza, the Nicola Rossio Hotel is in a Pombaline building that was completely restored and adapted to a Hotel unit.

The centenary Nicola Café and the surroundings of the plaza were the source of inspiration for the project, that is based on a concept developed around a deco and geometric style present in Nicola, that shares walls with the hotel.

The concept materializes itself through the materials and shapes that are present throughout the building, like the walnut wood, the nero marquina marble stone and the golden brass, materials that are characterized by their timelessness and nobility.

The entire ambience of the space is accentuated in the furniture details, the geometrical shapes and in the mirrors.

The two imposing statues in bronzed iron that lie in the Rossio Plaza fountains, rusted over the years, and that gave it a greenish tone, are the inspiration for the green sage colour used throughout the hotel.

Not lacking, of the course, the black and white tones, characteristic of the portuguese pavement that in the Rossio Plaza presents itself in a wave shape, and that in the interior of the hotel appear in details throughout the space.

In the Nicola Rossio Hotel there is a deco and geometric style that coexists harmoniously with the modernity, in an environment with history brought to our days.
