The SC House is located in the CCDA Collective Housing, a group of 8 houses located near the slopes of Calán Hill in Los Dominicos, an old neighborhood in the foothills of Santiago, characterized by its great vegetation. A common central street, with an east-west axis, separates the north and south units. All different in their spaces and distribution, but respecting the same predominant materials, which maintain a common language between them. The first floor is made of exposed reinforced concrete, a solid structure that protects it from the ground, the neighbors and the common areas, the concrete slab serves as eaves and support platform to the second floor, which considers a  steel structure and partition walls, allowing flexibility in the distribution of spaces to respond to the requirements of each client. The volumes of the second level are set back towards the common street, managing to control the pedestrian scale, they are cladded externally with a modified and painted black wood, reinforcing the idea of ​​lightening the second floors.
The SC House is oriented to the north, leaving a hermetic facade to the south and the common street, partially opened (through vertical windows) on the second floor corridor area, providing natural illumination. An interior patio organizes the access, the social and private areas, its vegetation is constantly present when touring the house or contemplating it from the public areas. A staircase connects the first level with the family room on the second floor, which generates the connection with the children's bedrooms. A second private interior patio, articulates the master bedroom with a study. Both interior patios allow cross ventilations, controlling the interior temperature during hot seasons. The living-dining room windows open completely,  clearing the views and connection to the garden, making it part of the house. Two sliding glass doors, intergrate the kitchen as part of the social areas. A door to the patio connects with the barbecue area, which is surrounded by a xeriscaping landscape, from there, views to the garden, the house, the surrounding trees and the Andes Mountains, are part of the atmosphere.

La Casa SC se emplaza en el Condominio CCDA, conjunto de 8 casas ubicado en el sector de los Dominicos, cercano a la ladera de cerro Calán, antiguo barrio de la precordillera, característico por su gran vegetación. Una calle central común, con un eje oriente-poniente, separa las unidades del norte con el sur. Todas distintas en sus espacios y distribución, pero respetando los mismos materiales predominantes, que mantienen un lenguaje común entre ellas. El primer piso se plantea en hormigón armado visto, una estructura sólida que las protege del terreno, los vecinos y las áreas comunes, una losa de entrepiso sirve como aleros y mesa de apoyo para el segundo nivel, el cual considera una estructura liviana de acero y tabiquería, permitiendo la flexibilidad de distribución de espacios para responder a los requerimientos de cada cliente. Los volúmenes del segundo nivel se retranquean hacia la calle común, logrando controlar la escala del peatón, éstos se revisten exteriormente con una madera modificada y pintada negra, reforzando la idea de aligerar los segundos pisos.

La Casa SC se orienta hacia el norte, dejando una fachada hermética hacia el sur y la calle común, abriendo parcialmente (mediante ventanas verticales) el pasillo del segundo piso, para iluminarlo naturalmente. Un patio interior organiza el acceso, las áreas sociales y las privadas, la vegetación de éste se hace presente constantemente al recorrer la casa o contemplarla desde las áreas públicas. Una escalera conecta el primer nivel con la sala de estar del segundo piso, que genera la conexión con los dormitorios secundarios. Un segundo patio interior, de carácter más privado, articula el dormitorio principal con un estudio para el teletrabajo. Ambos patios interiores, permiten ventilaciones cruzadas controlando la temperatura interior durante las temporadas cálidas. Los ventanales del living-comedor se abren completamente, liberando las vistas y la conexión con el jardín, haciéndolo parte del habitar. La cocina se integra como parte de las áreas sociales, mediante dos puertas correderas vidriadas. Una puerta hacia el patio la conecta con el quincho, el cual se rodea por un paisajismo más seco y fácil de mantener, desde ahí, se puede contemplar el jardín, la casa, los árboles de su entorno y la Cordillera de Los Andes.
