House built in the 1920s in the historic center of Mestre-Venice. Bound. Only restoration permitted. The project objective was to achieve seismic compliance and maximum energy efficiency. The difficulty of the intervention was to achieve these objectives while maintaining the external fronts and the original internal distribution unchanged. There is everything needed for an A4 certification. High efficiency and reduced thickness internal insulation (nanotechnologies) bronze windows and doors with thermal break on Secco profile; ceiling heating and dehumidification with VMC; home automation system for the entire air conditioning system; ventilated floor to avoid the presence of radon gas.

The greatest difficulty was to be able to build a machine with very high static and energy efficiency but without exhibiting it and putting it on display because a building is not a machine but a place where memories are stratified.

Casa costruita negli anni 20 del 900 nel centro storico di Mestre-Venezia. Vincolata. Ammesso il solo restauro. L’obiettivo di progetto era raggiungere l’adeguamento sismico e la massima efficienza energetica. La difficoltà dell’intervento è stato quello di realizzare questi obiettivi mantenendo inalterati i fronti esterni ed il distributivo originario interno. C’è tutto quello che è necessario per una certificazione A4. Isolamento interno ad alta efficienza e ridotto spessore (nanotecnologie); serramenti in bronzo a taglio termico su profilo Secco; riscaldamento a soffitto e deumidificazione con VMC; impianto in domotica di tutto il sistema di climatizzazione; pavimento areato per evitare la presenza del gas randon.

La difficoltà maggiore è stata quella di riuscire a costruire una macchina ad altissima efficienza statica ed energetica ma senza esibirlo e metterlo in mostra perché un edificio non è una macchina ma un luogo dove stratificano i ricordi.
