The Chaos and the Framework addresses a current problem in historic cities, on the one hand brings the need to project into the future in the impact and the memorable, on the other hand the memory of yesteryear must be preserved framing in itself the most evolved expression of a culture.

Thus the project was framed immediately, so that the intervention would be a point of capture articulating harmoniously but expressively with the existing surroundings

Aiming to be the Alameda Concept Store a commercial space with an evolved philosophy of street commerce, and being located on Alameda de São Damaso, a central route in the articulation of the city and point of capture commercial activity, it was immediately understood that the space would have to relate to the outside in a very intuitive and expressive way. So we started for an imagery capable of markedly accept this concept by creating a sustained path in a "vortex point" where the spatial and visual distribution suggested to the visitor an irrefutable appeal of experience where in an almost "mandatory" way they would be exposed to the commercialized product and to the designed space.

It was sought in parallel the centrality breaking the scale longitudinally omitting the opening of the entrance in the middle of the gallery orienting the space in two wings whose route forces the return in order to accentuate the commercial character, in a duplicated reading of the exposed product.

The concept culminated thus, spatially and visually in an imaginary point, central tri dimensionally, builder of all movements generated, assuming itself as the cradle / vortex from which each line is built or supported, giving a fluid and continuous movement in all spatial dimensions from the floor plan through the plan and ceiling and walls. This logic built all the exhibition and percurriable spaces making the Alamenda Concept Store a space whose form and function are articulated in a concordant and harmonious rhetoric.
