The “turtle” grouping that inspired the ground plan saves 5°C in temperature. By huddle together, in very dense groups (8 to 10 penguins per m²), and by only presenting the upper part of their back to the cold wind, penguins limit heat loss.
This district has a hundred villas grouped together ten by ten intended to accommodate the families of researchers from the Skolkovo Innovation center. It fits into a vast clearing surrounded by a stream allowing the melting snow to be evacuated.
