Moncks Bay Lane House is a private detached residence, surrounded by a lush nature that in every room enters the house. If the construction technology takes into account the strictest rules in force in an area at risk of flooding, the aesthetics of the exterior combines the geometry of traditional local brick with vertical slats of cedar wood. The interiors continue in the rigorous stylistic sign of the architect, without giving in to decoration but dedicating the most generous spaces to the kitchen and bathroom. For the large kitchen composed of an island and a technologically-equipped wall, the Ottavo tap in stainless steel was chosen. In the bathroom the light enters from above and cuts along the perimeter; it creates interesting chiaroscuro and tonal games between the grey of the wall-covering and the satin effect of the Source series of taps in stainless steel. Technical and aesthetic solutions have led this project to win the local Home of the Year award in 2021.
