Architectural and interior projects of the building which was dated 1895 and has neo-classical
architectural elements were designed. The building which was used partly as a polyclinic,
which had serious problems in terms of its function and structure was redesigned according to
the new architectural program and was opened for service. The building is used by the Private
Health Service of the Azerbaycan Presidency. The building was transformed into a medical
centre that can offer surgical and radiological services.
The main structural elements and the facade character were preserved in the design and the
spaces were reconfigured according to the needs.The inner courtyard, which was open before
the design, was covered with a skylight cover made of steel construction. On the ground floor
of the building, there are imaging, intervention units, laboratories, polyclinics; on the first floor
mainly polyclinics in different branches and administrative units are located on the second
floor. In the interior design, material selections were made in accordance with the original
texture of the building and at the same time meeting the standards required for a health building.
Structural problems were solved within the scope of restoration and facade maintenance and
outside lighting were also done.
