Sham - Relyens Group

Caruso Acoustic sound-absorbing panels were installed at the offices of Sham - Relyens Group, a leading European company providing insurance and risk management services to healthcare professionals and local authorities, based in Milan, Italy.

The acoustic correction project covered the open-plan office area and some meeting rooms, aiming to achieve a suitable level of acoustic comfort in all the rooms involved. Background noise generated by normal work activities can lead to increased mental fatigue and affect the physical and mental well-being of employees. The focus of the project was therefore to ensure adequate reverberation times, according to the different uses, also taking into account the structural conformation of the spaces - some rooms, for example, had glass perimeter walls.

The Nuvola acoustic panels - integrated with LED ceiling lights - were suspended over the workstations and meeting tables to provide the right amount of light in the rooms, removing the need for additional lighting.

The versatility and adaptability of the panels allowed for the creation of configurations of sizes and shapes suitable for the spaces they were installed in, while at the same time ensuring maximum flexibility during installation, with the possibility of adjusting the distance of the panels from the ceiling.

As regards appearance, the fabric covering the acoustic panels was chosen to contrast with the colours of the carpet used for the floor, creating an environment with a simple, modern and welcoming style.
