It’s often said that a piece of furniture adds the finishing touch to an architectural project. We believe furniture makes the architecture.

The flagship of STATEMENT jewellery house has opened in Paris a few steps from the Tuileries garden.

The creators focus, especially for this project, on the jewellery’s world for a sharp result. The interior volume, looking like a faceted capsule, houses the jewellery designed by the founder of the brand Amélie Huynh, in a technically advanced universe that approaches the jewellery codes through the precision of architectural details and the design of the furniture. This immersive envelope is a monolithic setting, a reference to the brutalist movement.

Entirely developed in a sort of cement slabs, the shell, «concrete skin», extends throughout the space. STATEMENT’s futuristic aesthetic resonates with the materials used such as vibrated stainless steel, aluminum, polyurethane foam, powder sintering, lacquered wood and mirror. The mastery of the all set has been meticulous, down to the design of the hooks intended for hanging the jewelry in the display cases, taking as much from museography as from high-tech laboratory.

It is in a progressive circulation that the jewel is revealed in the wall display cases, in the earring-bar and in the large stelae with triangular patterns and sharp edges whose opening of the glasses by magnetic control endows a science- fiction look.

The experience is completed through the intimate and modular fitting space provided by the bench, the levitating gem table and a full-length swiveling mirror. When Alyh, the virtual heroine - icon of the jewellery house, lives and moves through a vertical rift, a screen revealing her digital universe.

This shop is a real curiosity of the Saint Honoré district.
