hinterhouse is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom house with an open concept between the living room and kitchen. It is a space that merges design and nature, where luxury is redefined and wellbeing is at the forefront. Research shows that beautiful design and being immersed in nature change how you feel and we want people to feel good.

hinterhouse is an architecturally designed space in the middle of nature where the inside meets out and the outside meets in — the lines are blurred. It is constructed from 60% glass, so when you are sitting inside you have amazing views but with the warmth and comfort of being inside. The design is very minimalistic with some Japanese cues. The designer believes that less is more and less allows you to feel creative, nostalgic, safe and comfortable.

There’s a freestanding fireplace and wooden shutters that you can play with to create the ambiance you desire. When they are all open, you see right into the wilderness — there’s nothing else around you. Also on the property is private spa area with a floor-to-ceiling windowed sauna available all year round. It looks like a tiny hinterhouse!

hinterhouse is located in La Conception, Quebec, which is around 15 minutes’ drive from the Mont-Tremblant ski area where you’ll find restaurants and shops. Both Montreal and Ottawa are around 90 minutes away.
