O cabinet with Métaphores Paris

Jacobsroom Editions presents a selection of the most significant of its furnishing accessories during MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2021 for the "I’ll Be Your Mirror" exhibition project curated by Josephine Akvama Hoffmeyer and Elisa Ossino in the H+O Gallery in Via Solferino 11 in Milan.

From the O collection comes the special edition for Milan Design Week 2021 in collaboration with Métaphores Paris, a French signature for interior decoration belonging to the Hermès textile chain.

The wall cabinet is inspired by the concept of a triptych Renaissance altarpiece that intimately enshrines its decorations. The three-dimensionally crafted wooden decor lines enter in perfect communication with the precious textiles from the Elements Terre collection design by Emilie Paralitici: Sismic, and Palanque, played on the weaving of thin contrasting lines that cause an optical effect of movement and that testify to the manufacturing experience of Le Crin, the only laboratory in the world where horsehair is woven by hand.
