Casa Ayamonte comes alive within four volumetric concrete bodies. These space volumes are the result of the fragmentation that the architectonic program proposes, giving different purposes to the space depending on the activity being developed inside. The position of these boxes, along with their correlation, create spaces such as patios, plazas, empty spaces and terraces; becoming the articulators of all the components.

This is how a set of plans are generated, plans that never touch, making not only a house, but an experience welcoming of discovery and surprise; the journey through the four levels of the house is not an evident path, but one that must be found while walking through it, letting the open spaces and the concrete bodies lead the way.

The house is, in its totality, made out of concrete that will age in a dignified manner, expressing itself the way it is, with a sober and timeless character. This is an honest proposal of all the structural elements where the function of each volume becomes clear: the one that relies on the other and the one that supports it.In contrast with the concrete, the floors are made of travertine marble and oak woods that add warmth to the spaces.

The proposal is developed on a rising slope, so the entry access begins on the lowest part giving way as it rises to middle levels first and finally to the highest level that is the limit with the golf course and the whole view to Bosque de Primavera. The low level harbors a garage fit for six cars, the playroom and all the service zones, the pedestrian access has a staircase surrounded by vegetation and sheltered by the cantilever from the superior volume corresponding to the bedrooms; this staircase leads to the grand lobby framed by the swimming lane, one of the bedrooms and the garden. Half level higher are the public areas: living room, dining room, kitchen, studio and a terrace with an exit to the garden merged with the golf course.

Finally, in the last level, the four bedrooms with particular views to the sire. The vertical circulations are resolved in a tension point between two volumes. They meet inside a crystal box just like the rest of the connections, creating a contrast with the heavy concrete and accentuating the fact that the elements do not touch each other.
