Librairie Book Store | Manos Varanakis

The bookstore "Librairie" is located in Chania, Greece. This is a two-story space of 250sqm. The ground floor is divided into three sections, that of literature, the field of children's books and stationery. An important element of this project, which concerns the proper operation of the store, was the design of furniture and shelves of special dimensions for each section separately.
The red strip on the floor separates the part of the literary book from that of the stationery and delimits the movement around the cashier. Special lights, that contain real books, were designed (by the interior designer) and constructed in order to highlight the hight of the space and to give an interesting aesthetic touch on the childrens' book sector.
