Och Casa is a fully renovated modernist house (build in 1930) situated in a historic district of Warsaw, Poland. The architect brought Australian influence to the project as she had been living and working Down Under for nearly a decade. The design combines the original modernist elements of the house with the new modern interiors. The original timber stairway links three levels of the house. An additional skylight has been added in order to bring natural light. Designed by the architect, a custom made, 10 meters long led lamp illuminates the space at night.
The original floor plates have been redesigned in order to meet the modern design & living standards. The new centre of the house was created by replacing by the former living room with an open plan kitchen and dining.
Modern art, both paintings and sculptures, complement the interior design, becoming the signature of the project.
