One bedroom apartment designated for a newly married couple with a minimalism approach. The challenge of this design was to fit an office space without modifying visibly the usable area of the apartment. Thus, a two person office desk was proposed, with storage areas, a narrow open library and a functional area with supplies and integrated electronics. The separation between the two spaces was made by creating a continuous surface on the wall and ceiling with the same finish as the floor and was highlighted with the help of LED lights. This surface, as well as the resistance pillar, is part of the living room wall composition and helps to improve it by eliminating the symmetry, an aspect pursued from the beginning. The living room area also communicates with the kitchen through the dining area and has a gorgeous view over Gheorgheni Park. Functionality, aesthetics and homogeneous traits was the main aim of this project.
