Casa Arcturus | Luis Pina Lopes

This house is for a special family of spiritual parents with two kids and a dog.
The owners wanted a reunion place rooted to the earth to spend the day and a flying space to sleep and “create” (work).
This house should be like a temple and all materials should have their spiritual conscious role. We enter the house through a wood and stone pathway that walk us through water (purifying) and plants (energizing) before entering the house.
Geometry and proportion were always used in spiritual places and nowadays people are searching for the influence of it in their connectedness.

The house is grounded and supported by alternative energies, solar and geothremal are some of the strategies planned for this house to reduce its carbon footprint.
