Breakfast over, it’s time to venture outside and enjoy the genteel atmosphere of the streets of Upper East Side, before heading south to Midtown to take in the current exhibition at MoMA and then, maybe a quick bite with friends in the Madison Square Park area. All this, and it’s only lunchtime. The days are packed in the Big Apple, which is why having a sanctuary to return to is so important. In tutto l’alloggio l’alone è etereo, i quadri della serie Intarsi, creano un effetto audace grazie ai giochi di simmetria con i pattern tipici della pietra e alla combinazione del marmo Bianco di Carrara con i toni scuri e ricchi della Pietra d’Avola. La lampada Urano e le sculture Omaggio a Morandi donano un senso palpabile di eternità all’intero appartamento, di solidità e leggerezza in un unico design.

Dopo colazione è il momento di buttarsi nella mischia ed essere travolti dalla frenesia tipica delle strade dell’Upper East Side e del Midtown East. Un taxi fino al MoMA per la temporanea del momento e poi via fino al Madison Square Park per una birra con gli amici.
