The Bohemian hostel is surrounded by the ‘must-sees’ of Barcelona and so as you circle around the building you can see all of them as the position of the rooms change like a kaleidoscope. The conception was choosen because Barcelona is a wonderful city and is filled with landmarks that shouldn’t be missed. So there was no other choice but to create the possibility to enjoy all of them in every way possible.

While the rooms are wandering around the building - the ecologically designed indoor farms and relaxing outdoor areas follow them. The position depends on the best viewing corridor for the rooms and the best location for each crop on the farm. Every visitor who wants to stay in this eccentric hostel has to help out with this ecological lifestyle.

Guests of the hostel help with the mini farms and as a result can keep some goods for themselves or receive a discount. This promotes a sustainable lifestyle that is both ecological and economical. As guests return home to their own countries they in turn spread the news of the hostel-farm and become a part of a chain of information concerning new ecological ways of living. Part of the goods produced on the farms also goes to the natural food store downstairs so the hostel can earn additional money and invest it into new ecological solutions in the building and thereby promote sustainability.
