"Castle in a Box" is an architectural installation that celebrates the essence and history of Diano Castello through a bold and contemporary interpretation.

Situated in the charming loggia of this historic village in Imperia, the installation presents itself as an imposing structure composed of a series of uniform boxes strategically arranged. The assembly of these boxes creates a volume that evokes the distinctive profile of the ancient castle walls, offering visitors a unique and engaging visual experience.

Through a clever play of overlays and perspectives, the boxes house frames that showcase aerial photographs of the area. This dialogue between architectural form and visual content creates a multisensory experience that invites visitors to immerse themselves in the installation.

 A distinctive element of the installation is the use of red adhesive strips, which not only serve as a structural element to unite the boxes but also add a touch of vibrant color and contrast to the monochromatic landscape of the installation, creating a dynamic and captivating atmosphere.
