In Munich, Zielstattstr., AXA renovated an storage facility from the late 1960s. Large rooms with a lot of headspace with over 4.50m height, containing new work spaces for the insurance company AXA. There rooms with more or less standardized desks, smaller and larger meeting rooms for communication needs. Recreation or recuperation of working energy is given with rooms of tabletennis or videogames or silent cubicles to recline and relax for some time.

Toying with the height of the rooms there are spaces uplifted for about 1m to get new points of view in real or regarding the work to do. Colours are more powerful in die meeting areas and kitchen points and less bold in the working spaces.

The industrial character of the building is still to be seen at the ceiling with clearly viewable powerlines,  pipes, tubes and beams for water or heating and air. This saved energy in production, construction and maintenance. And even more pushes AXA ahead in designing work spaces that inspire and enlight people for work.
