Quark’s use of local materials, fixtures and furnishings, such as a striking façade of Indian limestone, synthesizes Bodrum’s aesthetic traditions with the principles of sustainable architecture. For instance, smart natural air supply systems reduce the overall operating costs of the structures while providing effective airflow and cooling. Expansive windows, both taller and wider than standard fixtures, were also chosen to maximize air ventilation.
